On Saturday 8 August 2026, the Festival Durance Luberon invites you to Mirabeau, in the main courtyard of the Château, for an ApéRossini evening with Héloïse Mas and Vladik Polionov.
A rising star of French lyrical singing, Héloïse Mas returns to the Festival Durance Luberon with a recital dedicated to Giacomo Rossini, accompanied on piano by Vladik Polionov.
The programme features famous arias, rarer pieces and melodies from Rossini’s witty musical world. A brilliant Rossini evening, both virtuosic, theatrical and wonderfully entertaining.
This ApéRossini evening celebrates one of the most brilliant composers in the operatic repertoire. With his sense of theatre, humour and virtuosic vocal writing, Giacomo Rossini offers an ideal playground for Héloïse Mas’s voice.
Audiences will hear emblematic arias from The Barber of Seville and Tancredi, as well as lesser-known pieces such as The Siege of Corinth and Matilde di Shabran, in Italian and French.
The programme also includes the melodies that Rossini, with his customary humour, called his Sins of Old Age. An invitation to discover a Rossini who is at once virtuosic, free-spirited, mischievous and deeply human.
Héloïse Mas brings Rossini an intense stage presence, precise diction and a warm voice with many colours.
The programme alternates between famous arias, lyrical discoveries and melodies full of humour, combining virtuosity with theatrical spirit.
The main courtyard of the Château de Mirabeau offers an elegant heritage setting in which to enjoy this open-air lyrical evening.
