From 7 to 22 August 2026, the Festival Durance Luberon returns for its 29th edition, dedicated to music to be seen, with a programme spanning jazz, lyrical singing, opera, Corsican music, Cuban salsa and Baroque music.
From La Tour d’Aigues to Mirabeau, from Grambois to Lauris, the festival takes place in characterful venues, offering summer evenings where music meets heritage, conviviality and the Luberon art of living.
ApéroJazz, ApéroRossini, ApéroChants corses, pocket opera, jazz concert, ApérOpéra, Cuban salsa and ApéroBaroque: each event invites you to enjoy an accessible, warm and distinctive musical experience.
The Festival Durance Luberon offers a programme where styles naturally come together: opera, jazz, operetta, lyrical arts, world music, Corsican polyphonic singing, Cuban salsa and Baroque repertoires.
True to the spirit of its ApéroJazz, ApérOpéra and ApéroBaroque evenings, the festival combines artistic quality with a friendly atmosphere, designed to make the most of long summer evenings.
Driven by its volunteers, partners and host villages, the festival helps bring the villages of the Luberon to life while affirming its commitment to a more eco-responsible approach.

Known for its songs from the mountain villages of Corsica, the vocal group Core Corsu reveals the convivial, warm and Mediterranean spirit of the Isle of Beauty.
Their voices rise a cappella around the Paghjella, an emblematic song form in which voices intertwine, merge and reveal deep resonances. A moment of grace between tradition, emotion and sharing.

On Friday, 14 August, the Courtyard of Honour of the Château de La Tour d’Aigues welcomes Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca, presented in a pocket version.
9 pm: concert in the Courtyard of Honour of the Château.
One of the world’s most frequently performed operas owes its success to a remarkably effective, almost cinematic libretto, allowing Puccini to unfold his intense lyricism and dramatic flair.
Art, love, jealousy, conspiracy, power and passions intertwine in this slightly shortened version, centred on the three main characters, swept away by their feelings and by the great tide of History.

On Saturday, 15 August, the Courtyard of the Château de Lauris welcomes Nikki & Jules for an evening of jazz, soul, blues and boogie-woogie.
9 pm: concert. On-site catering will be available to extend the evening in a friendly atmosphere.
Born from the collaboration between American singer Nicolle Rochelle and French pianist Julien Brunetaud, Nikki and Jules marks the great return of a close-knit and inspired Franco-American quintet, united for more than twelve years.
Soul, blues, jazz and boogie-woogie come together in a vibrant, refined and deeply groovy universe, carried by an outstanding rhythm section and infectious stage energy.

On Sunday, 16 August, the Place de l’Église in Grambois hosts an ApérOpéra evening devoted to Franz Schubert.

7:30 pm: concert and complimentary aperitif, to close the festival in a refined musical atmosphere.
This original work, performed at the 2025 Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival, revisits the great moments of Alexandre Dumas’ novel and brings them into dialogue with major Baroque opera and oratorio arias.
Set to music by Handel, Alessandro Scarlatti, Antonio Caldara and Antonio Vivaldi, the countertenor illustrates the trials of Edmond Dantès, a complex and ambivalent hero driven by a powerful sense of self-transcendence.
