As part of the Shared Voices Festival, Grupo Orayis offering a participatory batucada workshop sung in Lauris, accessible to everyone, children and adults alike.
This workshop invites you to discover the traditional rhythms of central and northern Brazil, through a soft and inclusive approach where singing and percussion respond to each other. Afoxé, Samba de Roda, Puxada de Rede and even Côco compose a rich repertoire, resulting from a mixture of Amerindian, African and European cultures.
More than a simple workshop, it is a collective, sensory and living experience, where everyone is invited to participate, to feel the rhythm and to share an authentic musical moment.
Accessible without prerequisites, this workshop allows you to learn percussion and singing in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
This event is part of the 2026 Shared Voice Festival, dedicated to the music and cultures of South America.

Voix Partagées Festival 2026 in Lauris
From 29 to 31 May 2026, Lauris welcomes a new edition of the Voix Partagées Festival, three festive days celebrating polyphonic singing, world music and the sounds of South America.
Concerts, balls, workshops, participatory activities, musical strolls and performances will enliven the château grounds, the church and several locations throughout the village, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
