On 19 and 20 September 2026 in Lauris, the European Heritage Days invite you to explore the village through three free guided tours focusing on its history, gardens and botanical heritage.

For the European Heritage Days, Lauris offers three guided tours inviting visitors to see the village from a new perspective. The programme brings together historic heritage, gardens and traditional knowledge connected with the plant world.
In the old village, the tour travels back through time from Prehistory onwards, revealing the key stages that shaped Lauris. The garden tours explore two other aspects of the village’s heritage: the Grand Jardin and the Dye Plant Garden.
Over the two days, visitors can create their own itinerary, moving from historic lanes to landscaped and botanical spaces while discovering the village’s history, remarkable trees, dye plants and traditional know-how.
Three guided tours reveal different sides of Lauris. Village history, landscaped heritage and dye plants make up the programme for the weekend.
