Le Dîner de cons - Comedy in Cavaillon

Adapted from Francis Veber’s iconic play, Le Dîner de cons comes to the stage at the Moulin Saint-Julien in Cavaillon. Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends organise a dinner based on a simple but cruel idea: each guest must bring along someone chosen for their particularly unusual personality.

Pierre believes he has found the perfect candidate in François Pignon, an accountant with a passion for building scale models out of matchsticks. But the evening is about to take an unexpected turn. Always eager to help, Pignon has an extraordinary knack for unintentionally triggering one disaster after another.

Packed with misunderstandings, blunders and unexpected twists, this fast-paced comedy revolves around the encounter between two men who could hardly be more different, as the man everyone expected to be the evening’s victim gradually turns the tables.
