The route follows gentle tracks, alternating between shaded woodlands and more open sections, with beautiful views over the Calavon Valley, the village of Beaumettes, and the northern slopes of the Petit Luberon.

The walk also has botanical interest with varied Mediterranean flora: Aleppo pines, holm oaks, orchids in spring, as well as thyme, rosemary and other fragrant plants typical of the garrigue.
