Between vineyards, lavender and cypress trees, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, the Château de Sannes combines nature, culture and viticulture with elegance.

In the heart of Provence, just 35 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, the Château de Sannes vineyard flourishes in the south of the Rhône Valley, in the Luberon.
The cuvees, made from emblematic grape varieties of the region, reflect sustainable and authentic viticulture. Each bottle expresses the soul of Luberon, its history and its know-how.
During the Sunsets Vignerons, Château de Sannes invites you to experience an escape in the heart of an estate combining elegance, biodiversity and passion for wine.
A history that spans centuries
In the south of Luberon, the Sannes estate is surrounded by the castles of La Tour-d'Aigues, Lourmarin, Cucuron and Ansouis. The gently sloping hillside of Sannes enjoys beautiful sunshine, close to torrents and shady valleys.
Since 1603, Château de Sannes has witnessed many generations. Through the walls, gardens and vineyards, the history of the estate is woven, carried by successive families.
Celtic and Roman remains found around the estate also recall the antiquity of this place, marked by human presence, ancient circulations and the culture of the land.
From the historic country house to the wine-growing revival
The history of the estate began in 1603, when Jean de Tisati acquired the lands of Sannes from the Lord of Ansouis. He quickly began to develop the land, ensure irrigation and had a country house built.
His son Melchior then gave the estate its seigniorial soul: construction of a chapel in 1661, creation of a regular French-style garden, terraces, pond and fountain.
After a viticultural revival in the 1970s, then a period of cessation of production, the Gattaz family bought the estate in 2017 with the aim of preserving this heritage and relaunching the vineyard.
As early as 2018, a plan to restructure the vineyard was initiated. A modern winery was built and inaugurated in March 2020, marking a new stage in the history of Château de Sannes.
Terroir & know-how

Each wine comes from a living soil, shaped with respect and patience, in the wake of organic farming and biodynamics.
The vines interact with the seasons, the soil is worked with care, the gestures are precise and designed to reveal the purity of the fruit.
The total conversion of the vineyard to organic farming became a priority when the estate was taken over, with the obtaining of AB certification for the 2020 harvest.
Cuvees that tell the soul of Luberon
The Château de Sannes vineyard thrives on unique terroirs, bathed in sunlight and refreshed by Mediterranean breezes.
The cuvees are made from the region's emblematic grape varieties. They express sustainable, authentic viticulture that is attentive to the balance of living things.
Today, the vineyard offers four ranges of wines in three colors: red, white and rosé.
