Located in Provence, in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Château La Sable is a family winery located at the foot of the Luberon Mountain.

The estate extends into the heart of a 14-hectare park composed of vineyards, olive trees, pines, oaks and hundred-year-old plane trees.
Around an 18th century country house, the estate operates a vineyard cultivated using organic farming, on mostly sandy soils that gave the property their name.
During the Sunsets Vignerons, Château La Sable opens its doors to you to share its history, its wines and its privileged natural setting.
An 18th century country house steeped in history
The estate belonged to several generations of a family from Forcalquier, near Manosque. In the 19th century, Victor-Étienne Pascal, owner at the time, added two towers that now give the place its majestic appearance of a castle.
His descendants sold the estate in 1964 to the Lembo family. Their son-in-law, Bernard Delarozière, then developed the wine business until the property was acquired by Jean-Marc and Virginie in 2017.
Today, Château La Sable is continuing its renewal around a clear ambition: to produce quality wines that respect the environment and are faithful to the Luberon region.
Terroir & know-how

The first vines of the estate were planted in 1967, with grape varieties emblematic of the region: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cinsault.
Located between 250 and 350 meters above sea level, the vines benefit from the day-night thermal amplitude and the influence of the Luberon mountains, guaranteeing the freshness of the wines.
The soils of the vineyard are mostly sandy. They give birth to fine, elegant and expressive wines, between fruit, roundness, power and freshness.
An organic vineyard between tradition and renewal
Since their arrival, the owners have initiated a large program of restructuring the vineyard, with new plantings of white grape varieties such as Rolle, also called Vermentino, Clairette, but also Syrah, Grenache, Grenache, Cinsault and Counoise.
Counoise, an old grape variety from the Rhône Valley, was chosen in particular to support the climate transition, thanks to its late nature.
The estate's grape varieties reflect the South of France: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault for the reds; Rolle, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette, Clairette, Ugni blanc and Grenache blanc for the whites.
A cellar designed to limit its impact
In 2024, a new semi-buried cellar was established in an area surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, overlooking the Luberon. It benefits from the natural slope in order to harvest the grapes as close as possible to the vines and to vinify using gravity.
Insulating mono-wall brick walls make it possible to limit thermal variations, summer and winter. The barrel cellar, located in the semi-basement, offers a stable environment for the maturation of wines.
The electricity needed to air condition the storage is produced by solar panels on the roof, and rainwater is collected from the roof.
Certified organic cuvees, as close as possible to the land
The estate has been managed in Organic Agriculture since 2018 and the wines have been certified ORGANIC since the 2022 harvest.
The owners' first harvest took place in autumn 2018, with manual harvesting to respect the fragility of the old vines.
In the vineyard as in the cellar, the motto is to limit interventions in order to promote the full expression of the land. The estate produces several cuvees in white, rosé and red.
