Marrenon, the essence of a terroir combining tradition and innovation

Marrenon is one of the leading winegrowers in the Luberon and Ventoux regions between the Rhône and Provence. It ensures the economic vitality of the region by producing premium wines with a personalised style that magnifies the terroir. True to its roots, Marrenon is building an international brand by focusing on respect for the environment and innovation.
For over 50 years, Marrenon has been synonymous with respect for the terroir and the expertise of its winegrowers.

A mosaic of terroirs

The mythical mountains of Luberon in the south (1125 m) and Ventoux in the north (1912 m) forge the character of these appellations: maximum sunshine, tempered by altitude and the thermal amplitude linked to the proximity of the Southern Alps, gentle slopes and limestone hillsides, rolling hills exposed to the benefits of the Mistral wind... all these factors favour the exceptional expression of this mosaic of terroirs from which Marrenon benefits. The richness and diversity of the soils - chalky scree, rounded pebbles and saffron - are the ideal cradle for Syrah and Grenache, the dominant grape varieties, and for the white Vermentino, the pride of the estate.

Marrenon since 1965

Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park, recognised as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, Marrenon is above all a story of people and land. Ardent defenders of their region and its sublime landscapes, shaped by vineyards, olive groves, cherry trees and lavender fields, in love with their Provencal villages, the Marrenon winegrowers are the guarantors of an authentic territory.

A work of goldsmith

Marrenon's winegrowers have a deep respect for their heritage and the environment, and are committed to a demanding quality approach, certified by several quality labels. Both in the vineyards, where the winegrowers are constantly supported by a rigorous parcel-by-parcel approach, and during vinification, which is orchestrated with the precision of a goldsmith by Philippe Tolleret.
