Specialising in woodturning, woodcarving and artistic cutlery, Matthias combines traditional skills with creativity to create unique works of art.

Trained in cabinet-making and woodturning, Matthias works mainly with Mediterranean species such as burr juniper, pistachio terebinth, arbutus and hackberry. His passion for artistic cutlery has also led him to create knives with handles in precious wood and blades in Damascus steel, combining aesthetics and functionality.

Committed to passing on his art, Matthias offers courses to suit all levels : 

• Introduction to woodturning: for beginners wishing to discover the basics of woodturning and make their first pieces.
• Advanced woodturning: for those who want to deepen their skills and explore advanced techniques.
• Cutlery courses: training in forging Damascus steel blades and designing custom knives.

These courses offer a complete immersion in the craft of wood and cutlery, allowing participants to leave with their own creations.
