Sommaire

A singular figure on the Reunion scene, Maya Kamaty reinvents Maloya — traditional music from Reunion Island born from the history of slaves — by propelling it towards daring urban pop. Between Creole language, traditional percussion and electro, hip-hop or trap influences, she weaves powerful music, between memory and modernity, softness and assumed rage.
In the first part, Baby Sharon, a Franco-Togolese artist between Marseille and Lomé, deploys a soul-pop interspersed with hip hop and neo-soul. Her luminous voice and her intense presence give life to sensitive and direct texts, nourished by multiple identities and intense emotions. An artist to discover, who is preparing a first EP expected in 2026.
An evening under the stars, between heritage, contemporary energy and new voices from the current scene.
