Based in Mérindol, Philippe Gourdin is passionate about local history and the riches of Provence, and invites you to explore the wonders of the Luberon. An experienced mountain leader with a Brevet d'Etat since May 2011, Philippe will guide you on enriching outings focused on discovering the fauna, flora, geology, local produce and much more. Each outing is unique, enriched by Philippe's in-depth knowledge of a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on the past of the Vaud region, architecture, dry-stone heritage and the epic story of the charbonnières.

Philippe Gourdin, in collaboration with Jessy Juillard and Olivier Léonard, founded Horizons Luberon, a guide office dedicated to promoting the Luberon region. In addition to his local tours, Philippe works in partnership with the travel agency Chemins du Sud to offer itinerant tours in the south of France and Italy.
