Anouk Marion is an artist specialising in the creation of santons and ceramics. Based in Robion, at the foot of the Petit Luberon, her workshop ‘Santons et Céramiques des Roures’ perpetuates the Provencal tradition with unique, hand-crafted pieces created with passion.

Authentic, handmade santons

Each santon is made entirely by hand, without the use of moulds, guaranteeing that each piece is unique. Made from clay fired at 980°, they are then delicately decorated and painted to bring to life the emblematic figures of the Provencal cot.

Faithful to tradition, these santons represent the little Provencal people on their way to the Christ Child. Each character, accessory and hand-painted fabric is part of the history and soul of Provence.
