Wednesday 22 July 2026 between 10 am and 6 pm.
The Lavender Museum Luberon invites you to a special immersive day dedicated to traditional Made in France craftsmanship. This edition highlights local production, artisanal techniques and the heritage linked to fine lavender from Provence.
Between museum visits, distillation demonstrations, creative workshops and the exceptional opening of the organic skincare laboratory, this day offers a complete immersion into a world where local terroir, craftsmanship and Provence come together.

From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the audio-guided museum tour allows visitors to freely explore the history of lavender, traditional distillation tools, lavender-growing professions and Provençal traditions. A true immersion into the world of fine lavender, a symbol of the Luberon.
From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, visitors can attend a traditional distillation demonstration. The distiller explains each step of the process, from harvesting to essential oil extraction, in a lively and authentic presentation.
Two guided tours are also offered at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM to further explore the history of fine lavender, distillation and the uses of this emblematic plant of Provence.
A key highlight of the day, the organic skincare laboratory opens its doors to the public for a rare experience. During small group visits at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, visitors discover how organic cosmetics are made using essential oil from fine lavender grown and distilled on the family estate.
A unique opportunity to truly understand what Made in France means, by following the complete journey of the product, from field to bottle.
Several discovery workshops are offered throughout the day to enjoy an immersive experience around lavender and the aromatic plants of Provence.

The sensory workshop, held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM, allows participants to recognize the scents of Provence, compare fragrances and better understand the connection between aromatic plants, cultivation and perfumery.
From 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, children can take part in a lavender sachet workshop to create their own scented item with the help of the museum team.
From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the lavender spindle workshop led by Patricia Bagnoli invites visitors to learn the traditional art of weaving lavender and to leave with their own creation.
Finally, the scented watercolor workshop led by Nathalie Maire, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with sessions at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, offers a unique experience where painting and fragrance come together.
For the occasion, all workshops are included with the admission ticket, except those led by external contributors: scented watercolor with a participation fee of €5 and lavender spindle weaving with a participation fee of €10.
Finally, an ice cream stand will be set up in the museum courtyard from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering original flavours such as fine lavender, thyme, rosemary, rose and melon. A perfect gourmet break between activities to extend this day in the heart of the Luberon.
