Leaving from Lourmarin, recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in France, this relatively easy loop takes you along MTB route no. 33 to Cadenet, the ruins of its castle and the splendid panoramic view over the Durance.

The route then climbs up and over the other side of the Gardis hill, through vineyards and undergrowth to Cucuron and its magnificent Bassin de L'Etang, lined with two hundred-year-old plane trees. The return journey is more direct, via Vaugines, another picturesque village nestling at the foot of the southern flank of the Grand Luberon.
