The start is rather easy and pleasant, the paved climb to the village of Gordes is a good wake-up call and the rest is magical but a little more tricky both physically and technically.

Beautiful paths, an abundance of dry-stone heritage and magnificent wilderness. After the Croix des Baux, the final climb up the old calade can be demanding, especially if the stones are wet. But in the end, what a treat!
