Pentecost weekend 2026 at the Lavender Museum Luberon

From Saturday, May 23 to Monday, May 25, 2026, the Lavender Museum Luberon offers a family-friendly weekend dedicated to lavender, aromatic plants and Provençal know-how.

With guided tours, sensory workshops, creative activities for children and scented watercolor sessions, these three days are a great idea for an outing in the Luberon to enjoy spring in Provence.

A family-friendly program for the Pentecost weekend

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the day begins with a sensory workshop at 10:00 AM, an immersive experience around lavender and aromatic plants to explore scents, textures and natural materials. Two guided tours are then offered at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM to discover the history of lavender in Provence, its cultivation and distillation techniques. In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, children can take part in a workshop to create personalised lavender sachets.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the lavender sachet workshop returns from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM to extend the family experience. Scented watercolor workshops are also offered at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This original activity combines painting and scents, using watercolours from the Ochre Conservatory of Roussillon, enriched with natural essences.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, the program continues with a sensory workshop at 10:00 AM, guided tours at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM, followed by the lavender sachet workshop for children from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Fun activities for children and families

Throughout the weekend, families can enjoy a child-friendly route, designed to make the visit more engaging and accessible for younger visitors.

A fun quiz, an audio-guided tour, a dedicated space and the award of a “young lavender grower” diploma at the end of the visit complete the program. A simple and enjoyable way to discover lavender in Provence through activities that are both sensory, creative and family-oriented.
