Discovered in France with his extraordinary cover of Ne me quitte pas, he helped rekindle public interest in Latin music while remaining faithful to the fundamentals of salsa and its history.

Yuri Buenaventura draws on the energy of New York salsa, at once sensual, romantic and combative, inherited from the golden age of the Fania All Stars.
