Le Nid - Ajoucadou

A cosy nest in the heart of the village of Lourmarin

Ajoucadou, which means ‘Perch’ in Provençal, lives up to its name. This house, nestling in the heart of Lourmarin, has been entirely renovated with care to offer modern comforts while respecting the authenticity of the place.

Located above the Galerie Balthazar, the house comprises three independent flats sharing a common entrance on rue Juiverie. Each space has been designed to combine aesthetics and functionality. Noble materials such as stone, marble, granite, oak and teak have been used to enhance each room and create a warm ambience.

Le Nid, one of the 3 flats, is a cosy nest for 2 people.

The decor is inspired by our travels: Mexico with its Huichole paintings, Bali with its bamboo and Buddha statues and Brazil.

The flat has two levels:

The first level comprises a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

The second level, accessed by a magnificent spiral staircase designed by Claude, the local ironmonger, leads to a cosy bedroom and bathroom.

From the large bay window, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the village bell tower and let yourself be lulled by the rhythm of the passing hours.

The flat has all the modern comforts: air conditioning, quality equipment (espresso machine, oven, dishwasher) and little touches to make your stay even more pleasant.
