Camping Intercommunal de la Durance*** is a 3-star campsite located in Cavaillon, in the heart of Vaucluse, between the Luberon and the Alpilles.

From mid-June to early September, you can freely enjoy the outdoor aquatic center and tennis courts adjacent to the campsite.

Located on the EV8 route, and close to the Camino de Compostela and the Tour du Luberon, the campsite is perfectly accessible to hikers on foot or by bike.

A stone's throw from the campsite, you can discover the many treasures of the region: the perched villages of the Luberon such as Gordes and Lourmarin, lavender fields, music festivals...

Sustainable tourism:

Camping la Durance is implementing a series of ecological measures in order to reduce its impact on the environment.
* Implementation of water reducers thus making it possible to reduce water consumption.
* Reduced public lighting at night between midnight and 7 am.
* Lighting gradually replaced by LED bulbs, which consume less energy and last longer.
* Monitoring of regular water consumption to identify areas for improvement.
* Selective sorting available to campers with selective sorting bins for household waste, recyclable packaging, paper and glass.
* Zero phyto thanks to the use of techniques alternative to chemical weed control, such as mechanical weeding or mulching.
In addition to these measures, the campsite makes its customers aware of the environment by offering them brochures and information on good practices to adopt.

These measures have allowed Camping la Durance to significantly reduce its impact on the environment. In 2022, the campsite thus reduced its water consumption by 20% compared to 2021, and its energy consumption by 15%. The campsite is continuing its efforts to further reduce its impact on the environment.
