On Saturday 19 September 2026, follow in the footsteps of the Plague Wall in Cabrières-d’Avignon during a 360° mapping party. During the walk, discover this emblematic heritage site, take immersive photographs and enjoy an original experience combining local discovery, photography and digital tools.
A mapping party is a participatory outing that invites you to explore a place while using digital tools to create and share a visual record of it.
Starting from the media library in Cabrières-d’Avignon, the walk takes you along the traces of the Plague Wall. Throughout the route, participants will observe the landscape and this remarkable heritage site while taking 360° photographs.
Digital equipment is provided so that everyone can take part in the experience and discover the area from a different perspective.

We also invite you to continue the experience with another 360° mapping party on Saturday 7 November 2026 in Cavaillon, around Notre-Dame and Saint-Véran Cathedral.
As the mapping party takes place outdoors and on foot, please wear clothing suitable for walking and for the weather conditions.
Comfortable shoes, a cap and a water bottle are especially recommended so you can enjoy the route around the Plague Wall in comfort.
