Ideally located in Saint-Didier, just a few kilometers from Gordes, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and Avignon, Château de Thézan offers an immersive journey into a beautifully restored historic monument.
Nestled between the Luberon and Mont Ventoux, Château de Thézan looks like it has stepped straight out of a Renaissance fairytale. Once an impregnable fortress, it became the noble residence of the Thézan-Venasque family over the centuries before being transformed into a prestigious thermal institute frequented by the elite.
Then, time and neglect took their toll… Until 2019, when a new era began: passionately restored, the château was reborn through an ambitious renovation project, allowing the public to rediscover an exceptional heritage.

Its lavishly furnished salons, its Second Empire baths miraculously preserved, and its English-style park, adorned with remarkable trees and cascading fountains, transport each visitor beyond time, into a world where history and beauty blend in perfect harmony.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to admire the beautifully restored historic salons, including the Grand Salon, the Louis XIII Salon, the King’s Chamber, and the Chapel, which form a stunning French enfilade of rare elegance. You will also discover the baths, unique infrastructures exceptionally well preserved.
You can also, like Beaumarchais, who sought inspiration here for his *Marriage of Figaro*, stroll freely through the alleys of the English-style park, following the botanical trail. The remarkable trees and cascading fountains offer you a timeless moment of serenity.
After more than 30 years of neglect, a new chapter in the history of Château de Thézan awaits you.
