Château Turcan - Ansouis

A family estate combining tradition and modernity.

Château Turcan has been a family estate for several generations. A rich terroir, the family's commitment and the care given to the land, the plants and the grapes give the wines their true identity.

A unique terroir

The vineyard extends over 15 hectares in a single block, grouped around the winery. This small, silty, stony plateau is exposed to the southern sun and has plenty of wind, producing wines with original, carefully cultivated and inimitable characteristics.

Château Turcan has remained resolutely committed to integrated vinegrowing and individual treatment of each plot, including during the harvest and vinification of the crop. The result? An astonishing range of wines in which the terroir and fruit express themselves in extremely varied ways.

The wines of Château Turcan

Château Turcan, the heart of the range, is a rich, well-balanced, fruity wine, characterised by great concentration. It is available in White, Red and Rosé.
The Cuvée Louis Turcan is made from specially selected plots of vines, harvested and matured with particular care, often in barrels. It is also available in red, white and rosé.

And what about the exceptional cuvée named after another of the museum's exceptional tools: L'Agitateur! Both the red and white wines are matured in oak barrels chosen for their provenance, toasting and coopering.

Note that Château Turcan still sells excellent red wines from old vintages that are very well preserved.

The Museum of Wine Arts and Crafts

A special feature of Château Turcan is the Museum of Wine Arts and Crafts, which houses over 3,000 exhibits, some dating back to the 16th century. This is a testament to the family's deep roots in tradition.
