An exceptional estate combining tradition, innovation and a commitment to eco-responsibility

The estate, taken over in 2012 by Patricia Alexandre (former director of Gault Millau) and Georges Antoun (hotelier with the New Hôtel group), is now undergoing a complete overhaul following a complete restructuring of the vineyard and the creation of top-level technical facilities.

The vineyard produces AOP Ventoux and AOP Luberon wines from a very fine terroir. The estate is planted with the great grape varieties of the Rhône Valley, and has been a Mecca for grape-growing for 3,000 years. It is home to a magnificent 9th-century chapel, and recent archaeological digs have uncovered numerous remains of Roman villas.

Having embarked on an organic conversion programme three years ago, our estate is going even further in terms of respect for the environment. We are reducing our carbon footprint by opting for ultra-light bottles, labels printed on eco-responsible paper and corks with a negative carbon footprint.

Proud of our commitment, we have also produced our very first sulphur-free cuvée for the 2020 vintage, a symbol of our desire to combine authenticity and innovation.

Much more than just a wine estate, our property is a place to live and share. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events: weddings, seminars, tastings and cultural gatherings. Our charming gîtes, art trail and exceptional setting make every visit a unique experience.

The Caveau is open all year round: free wine tasting for individuals, tours, purchase of wines from the estate, and numerous events are available. Private receptions can also be organised.
