Imagine cycling through vineyards, olive groves and exceptional scenery, stopping along the way to meet winemakers and enjoy festive moments. Welcome to the Cigales & Guidons Luberon and Ventoux Festival.
Organised by Vélo Vin Copains, the event will bring together nearly 300 participants on Saturday 19 September 2026. Starting in Oppède, the friendly route covers approximately 30 km through the vineyards.
There is no timing or focus on performance. The experience is all about sharing, meeting people and discovering local wines and expertise in a relaxed atmosphere.

Starting from Oppède, participants will set off together on a bike loop featuring four gourmet and festive stops. Wineries, olive oil, heritage, music and entertainment will fill this friendly day in the heart of the Luberon.
The ride
Approximately 30 km with no timing, to be completed at your own pace between Oppède, Ménerbes, Bonnieux and Goult.
The tastings
Taste white, rosé and red wines while meeting passionate producers from the Luberon and Ventoux appellations.
The atmosphere
Visits, live music, a unicycle activity and an open-air guinguette will add a festive touch to the experience.

The day will begin at Moulin Saint-Augustin, a family-run mill dedicated to olive oil production. Participants will return to the mill after the ride for the closing guinguette.

Domaine de La Royère
This organic family estate produces wine, grape marc spirit and olive oil. It has its own olive mill, an olive oil museum and a tasting area.
The added extra: an olive oil tasting and admission to the museum will be included.
Stop no. 2 · Ménerbes · km 9
Domaine de la Citadelle
Certified organic since 2016, the estate is run by Valérie and Yannick Panagiotis. Its vineyards follow an agroecological approach combining tradition, biodiversity and sustainable practices.
The added extra: a visit to the Corkscrew Museum and live music on the shaded terrace.
Stop no. 3 · Bonnieux · km 21
At the foot of Pont Julien
Take a break beside one of the Via Domitia’s most emblematic monuments, built in the 1st century BC. Measuring 80 metres in length, Pont Julien provides a remarkable heritage setting for the third tasting.
In the glasses: wines from Domaine du Pont Julien, a family-run estate established for four generations on the hillsides overlooking the Ventoux.
Stop no. 4 · Goult · km 27
A break along the cycle route with Cave de Lumières
Beneath the tall plane trees at Goult’s former railway station, this final stop will introduce participants to the wines of Cave de Lumières. Since 1925, the winery has showcased the terroirs of the Ventoux and Luberon appellations and the work of its dedicated winegrowers.
The added extra: a unicycle activity for participants who would like to put their balance to the test.
From 5 pm · Moulin Saint-Augustin
Back at the mill, participants can relax with their friends, enjoy a refreshing drink, order food from the food truck and dance to an open-air DJ set.
Born from an idea shared by friends and popularised on Instagram, the Vélo Vin Copains concept has already brought together thousands of cycling, wine and good-company enthusiasts. After several editions across France, the festival is coming to the Luberon vineyard.
Here, wine tourism is experienced differently: sustainable travel, encounters with winemakers, landscape discovery and time taken to enjoy the journey. The route focuses on a human and sensory experience with the people who bring the region to life.
By combining enjoyment, good company and respect for the environment, Cigales & Guidons promotes a more responsible and authentic way to discover the Luberon vineyards.
A collaborative event
The festival is organised by Vélo Vin Copains in partnership with Destination Luberon, Pays d’Apt Luberon, the AOC Ventoux and AOC Luberon wine associations, and Vélo Loisir Provence.
