Imagine a bike ride to the sound of cicadas, winding between vineyards, olive groves and breathtaking landscapes… Welcome to the Cigales & Guidons Festival in the Luberon!
Organised by the Vélo Vin Copains association, in partnership with the tourist offices Destination Luberon and Pays d’Apt Luberon, as well as Vélo Loisir Provence, the event will bring together around 300 participants on Saturday 20 September 2025. Starting from Gordes, cyclists will enjoy a friendly loop of about 30 km through the vineyards.
No stopwatch, no competition: the experience is all about sharing and conviviality. Along the way, participants will discover local wines, taste them directly at the estates, and enjoy festive activities: music, pétanque, relaxation and the authentic Provençal atmosphere.

Born from an idea among friends and gone viral on Instagram, the Vélo Vin Copains concept has already attracted thousands of young wine enthusiasts. After a remarkable success in Beaujolais, the event is now coming to the vineyards of the Luberon for its very first edition.
Here, wine tourism is experienced differently: authenticity, soft mobility, encounters with winemakers, and slow tourism. Discover the vineyards by bike, take the time to share with those who craft the wine, and enjoy a human and sensory experience rather than just a tourist activity.
By combining pleasure, conviviality, and respect for the land, the festival highlights a new way of traveling — more responsible and closer to what really matters.
