Organised by Vélo Vin Copains, the event will bring together nearly 300 participants on Saturday 19 September 2026. Starting in Oppède, the friendly route covers approximately 30 km through the vineyards.
There is no timing or focus on performance. The experience is all about sharing, meeting people and discovering local wines and expertise in a relaxed atmosphere.

Born from an idea shared by friends and popularised on Instagram, the Vélo Vin Copains concept has already brought together thousands of cycling, wine and good-company enthusiasts. After several editions across France, the festival is coming to the Luberon vineyard.
Here, wine tourism is experienced differently: sustainable travel, encounters with winemakers, landscape discovery and time taken to enjoy the journey. The route focuses on a human and sensory experience with the people who bring the region to life.
By combining enjoyment, good company and respect for the environment, Cigales & Guidons promotes a more responsible and authentic way to discover the Luberon vineyards.

The festival is organised by Vélo Vin Copains in partnership with Destination Luberon, Pays d’Apt Luberon, the AOC Ventoux and AOC Luberon wine associations, and Vélo Loisir Provence.
