Step into the enchanting atmosphere of Gordes by lanternlight during this unique summer guided tour. As daylight fades, the cobbled streets of the famous hilltop village glow gently and the magic begins…
Your guide, dressed in a costume inspired by the 14th century, will take you on a historical, playful, and sensory journey into daily life in the Middle Ages: food, religion, hygiene, health, the role of women… Each step immerses you in the past through fascinating anecdotes, legends, and period sounds.
Visitors are invited to awaken all their senses: smell (spices, Four Thieves Vinegar), hearing (medieval music and sounds), sight (lanternlight playing on stone façades), and touch (fabrics, leather…). A magical experience to enjoy with family, full of discovery, humor, and wonder.
