To enjoy your visit safely and in the best possible conditions, a few simple items will help you make the most of the guided tours, nature walks and night-time outings.

For daytime walks and tours

  • Wear comfortable shoes so you can move around easily, especially in cobbled streets or traditional calade lanes.
  • During the day, remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Depending on the weather, bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

For night-time tours

  • Bring a light jacket, as summer evenings can be cool.
  • For stargazing tours, bring a small blanket or throw so you can enjoy the night sky comfortably.
  • For some evening village tours, a light source may be useful.

Good to know: dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash. Some tours may be accessible with a pushchair, depending on the route.
