After 210 years of existence, the factory invites you to share its passion for noble fibres in La Filaventure, the sensory museum. Two centuries of innovation and excellence in the relentless search for the most beautiful materials on the five continents.
Avenue de la Libération, 84800, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

La Filaventure is a unique museum located in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, dedicated to noble fibers and textile craftsmanship. Founded in July 2018, this museum was created by Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun, the 7th and 8th generations of Brun de Vian-Tiran, a historic company in the field of spinning and textile manufacturing.
Unlike a traditional historical museum, La Filaventure aims to share a passion for the wool industry and fine materials, much like viticulture shares its passion for wine. The museum seeks to introduce visitors to textile fibers, manufacturing processes, and the beauty of fabrics through a sensory and interactive experience.
The museum is housed in a former "fulling mill" located in a historic wing of the Brun de Vian-Tiran buildings. This site has a long history dating back to the 18th century when it was used for fabric fulling. Later, it served as a madder mill, producing a natural dye historically used for coloring textiles. Over time, the facility underwent several transformations before becoming a finishing workshop for the Brun de Vian-Tiran manufacture. The building's restoration was carried out with great care, respecting urban planning regulations and local architectural specifics while integrating modern elements to create a lively and welcoming space.

Guided by the Filambule and Edgar the sheep for the youngest visitors, discover the animals that provide their wool across five continents, a creation inspired by nature. Touch and listen to the sounds of the workshops, operate real textile machines, watch the transformation process (two dedicated areas), and hear testimonials from wool artisans through 15 stages working in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Witness the transformation of wool, from fiber to fabric.
The museum offers a discovery journey with an immersive experience: touch, smell, and explore different types of wool and textiles interactively.
The wool market: Explore various textile fibers from five continents, with a special focus on sustainable partnerships with producers such as those from Crau in France and nomadic herders in Mongolia.
The genesis of a fabric: An immersive space where visitors can discover the creative process behind fabric-making, inspired by nature’s designs.
The manufacturing maze: This section reveals the steps of textile production, from spinning to weaving and finishing. Visitors can see machines in action, touch materials, and understand the gestures and techniques used by the skilled workers of the manufacture.

Brun de Vian-Tiran fabrics reveal the softness of nature, transforming the finest materials it has to offer. Discover shawls, scarves, plaids, blankets, duvets, mattress toppers, floor cushions, Avignon rugs, and accessories. Since 1808, these creations have provided exceptional softness, whether for comfort, finding the perfect fabric, adding character to an interior, or dressing a bed with elegance.
The La Filaventure shop, covering 160 m², is the brand’s first official store. Housed in a historic former spinning mill, it retains industrial elements such as beams and pulleys while offering a modern and elegant space with ceramic, schist, and slate decor, contrasting with the softness of the fabrics.
