The Château de Lourmarin welcomes pianist Maxime Alberti for a piano recital featured in the Summer Music Festival programme.
Through a programme bringing together Bach, Schubert, Schumann, Beethoven and Mussorgsky, this evening invites audiences to explore several great landscapes of the piano repertoire, between musical architecture, romantic intensity and evocative power.
In the heritage setting of the château, audiences can enjoy a sensitive musical moment, carried by the virtuosity of the piano and the summer atmosphere of Lourmarin.
This recital offers a contrasting musical journey, from the clarity of Bach to the grand pages of Mussorgsky. Each work opens a distinctive world, sometimes luminous, sometimes inward-looking, and at times spectacular.
With Schubert, Schumann and Beethoven, the programme explores the full richness of musical Romanticism: the poetry of short forms, expressive depth, dramatic contrasts and the piano as an instrument of intimacy and grandeur.
