From 11 July to 10 October 2026, the Summer Music Festival returns to the Château de Lourmarin for its 28th edition. In the historic setting of this emblematic monument in the Luberon, musical evenings invite visitors to discover a prestigious programme combining piano recitals, chamber music, traditional jazz, cine-concerts and concerts by young artists in residence.
Before the 9 p.m. concerts, the château opens its doors at 8 p.m., allowing the audience to enjoy the terraces and share a picnic in an exceptional setting. A wonderful way to extend the evening, between heritage, classical music and the Provençal art of living.
The year 2026 celebrates the centenary of the Fondation de Lourmarin Laurent-Vibert, founded in 1926 and recognised as being of public interest in 1927. For almost a century, the Château de Lourmarin has welcomed artists, musicians, visual artists, writers and creators in residence.
This edition pays tribute to this heritage with a series of concerts entrusted to artists who have been welcomed in residence in recent years, as well as to young talents invited through artistic partnerships.
