Located on Saint-Jacques Hill in Cavaillon, the Via Ferrata offers an unforgettable experience for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. Set in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, this activity combines sport, discovery and personal challenge.
The Cavaillon Via Ferrata features 2 routes: Via Natura and Via Souterrata. The Via Ferrata can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot from the Tourist Office via Montée César de Bus. Equipped with a harness and helmet, participants can safely follow a marked route featuring ladders, suspension bridges and more technical sections for the most adventurous.
The first, family-friendly section, known as “Via Natura”, is reserved for participants over 1.30 m tall. It offers an introduction to the activity and to life on the cliffs, with observation and interpretation areas dedicated to local wildlife, flora and heritage.
The second, more challenging section, known as “Via Souterrata”, is reserved for participants over 1.50 m tall. It stands out for its athletic character, geological features and thrilling obstacles. The route passes through the Colombier caves before crossing the Beaumes de Combarelles using spectacular equipment.
