From Saturday, April 4 to Monday, April 6, 2026, the Musée de la Lavande Luberon invites you to enjoy three festive and family-friendly days in the heart of Provence.
This program has been designed to offer a visit to the Luberon during the Easter weekend, combining cultural discovery, sensory experiences, and activities for children in a welcoming natural setting.
Visitors of all ages are invited to discover Provence lavender through guided tours, creative workshops, and fun activities suitable for the whole family.
10:00 am. Sensory workshop
An immersive workshop around aromatic plants and lavender. Participants explore materials, scents and textures to understand the connection between nature, perfumery and aromatic plants. Duration 1h15, from 8 years old.
11:30 am. Guided tour « The beautiful story of Provence lavender »
A comprehensive tour to discover authentic Provence lavender, its history, cultivation and traditional distillation know-how.
4:00 pm. Guided tour « The beautiful story of lavender in Provence »
From 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Lavender sachet workshop
A creative workshop specially designed for children. They create and personalize their own lavender sachet by choosing fabric, ribbon and a blend of aromatic plants. Guided by the facilitator, they discover the large Lamiaceae family and proudly leave with their scented creation.
Morning. Easter egg hunt in the museum garden
The egg hunt takes place in the garden of the Musée de la Lavande Luberon. At the museum entrance, children receive a riddle to guide them along their route. Using clues, they search for eggs hidden by the museum's Easter bunny throughout the garden. A fun and family-friendly activity, free with admission ticket.

A creative moment for children combining scent discovery, aromatic plant handling and craft creation.

Led by Nathalie Maire, professional watercolor artist, this artistic and sensory workshop invites participants to paint using scented watercolors exclusively created by the Conservatoire des Ocres de Roussillon. Workshop from 8 years old.
From 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Sensory workshop
A final sensory immersion around aromatic plants and lavender.
