Set off on a life-size treasure hunt in Gordes, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. With "The Lost Medallion of Gordes", discover the village’s iconic landmarks, historical heritage, and hidden mysteries — all while having fun with family or friends.
At the heart of this puzzle-filled tour is a legend inspired by a real historical figure: Bertrand Raimbaud de Simiane, Lord of Gordes and a key figure of the 16th century, known for his ties to the famed Knight Bayard. As the imperial troops of Emperor Charles V prepare to invade Provence, the lord hides his most precious possession in the village — the royal order medallion.
Your mission: to find this long-lost medallion! To succeed, explore the streets, squares, and hidden corners of Gordes in search of carefully placed clues. The guide remains in the background and only steps in when needed. The game is yours to lead!
This thrilling treasure hunt is designed for children aged 8 and up, as well as teens and adults, with slightly more challenging riddles than our other game-based visits. A unique experience that blends cultural discovery and teamwork, showing you Gordes in a whole new light.
Note: Wear comfortable shoes (the village has steep paths).
