This 20 km hike starting from Mérindol invites you to step back in time, following the footsteps of the Vaudois, a religious community persecuted in the 16th century. From the village square near the community hall, the waymarked loop trail leads you to the ruins of the old village and its Vaudois memorial, offering stunning views over the Durance Valley.

The route continues through the Petit Luberon forest massif, winding between undergrowth, clearings, rocky ridges, and breathtaking viewpoints. You’ll pass through the Font de l’Orme arboretum, a true Mediterranean garden, before entering the protected biological reserve, rich in remarkable biodiversity.

Along the way, you’ll discover La Muse (Vaudois Museum), the ruins of the Cachots, the Ser ridges, and the wide-open landscapes of Grand Champeau. A demanding but unforgettable hiking trail in the heart of Luberon's history and wilderness.
