Discover Landscape with Animals in Cheval-Blanc from 10 October to 28 November 2026: Franck Bordas’ photography exhibition on African wildlife.
Médiathèque intercommunale de Cheval Blanc, 11 Allée des Lauriers, 84460, Cheval-Blanc
From 10/10 to 28/11/2026 daily.
With Landscape with Animals, Franck Bordas presents a photography exhibition devoted to African wildlife, observed in the national parks of East Africa and Southern Africa.

Landscape with Animals presents Franck Bordas’ photographic work, created in the national parks of East Africa and Southern Africa.
His gaze does not seek simply to isolate the animal or capture it in action, but rather to reveal what connects it to its territory: the ground, grasses, dust, light and the space it inhabits.
An immersion in landscapes that may seem eternal, yet remain fragile and threatened.
Serengeti, Okavango, Kalahari: legendary names that evoke wide open spaces and the last populations of African wildlife.
The photographs show the deep connection between the animal, its environment and the elements that shape its living space.
An exhibition that invites visitors to look at the beauty of the living world, but also its fragility and the urgent need to protect it.
Franck Bordas is a lithographer, publisher and photographer. For more than forty years, he has travelled through Africa’s reserves and national parks.
He is particularly devoted to observing and studying the last elephant populations, in the heart of landscapes whose power and fragility he reveals.
Author of several books devoted to photography, nature and wildlife, he uses his work to raise awareness about the preservation of biodiversity.
A meeting around the exhibition will take place on Friday 6 November at 6:30pm, at the intercommunal media library in Cheval-Blanc.
It will be an opportunity to discuss Franck Bordas’ work, his relationship with Africa’s wide open spaces and his commitment to protecting the living world.
