Summer evenings in the Luberon: 5 things to do at night, from guided tours and concerts to open-air cinema, gourmet picnics, and wine tastings at local estates.
In summer, evenings in the Luberon take on a whole new charm. As the sun sets, the region is bathed in a different light: vineyards glowing gold, lively hilltop villages, intimate concerts and open-air screenings… To make the most of these mild summer nights, here are 5 activities to enjoy at sunset. Perfect for creating unforgettable moments and memories in the Luberon.
Experience the Sunsets Vignerons in the Luberon

No summer evening in the Luberon would be complete without the Sunsets Vignerons. This wine tourism experience takes place every Tuesday evening, offering full immersion in a local wine estate or cellar.
Whether with friends, as a couple or with family, this warm and friendly event is the perfect opportunity to meet passionate winemakers and savour the gentle charm of summer evenings.
If you enjoy fruity white wines, fresh rosés or full-bodied reds, each tasting highlights the unique character of the Luberon terroir and the know-how of its winemakers in blending the finest grapes.

The evening begins with a peaceful walk through the heart of the vineyards. Along the way, a winemaker deeply connected to his land will invite you into his world: sharing insights into his work, the natural cycle of the vine, and the secrets of the grape varieties he tends, Grenache, Syrah... You’ll learn how his farming choices reveal the soul of the estate. A timeless moment to experience wine long before the first sip.

Then comes the moment to step into the heart of the estate, where the wine is born. You enter the beating heart of the domain. The winemaker invites you to understand what lies behind each bottle. You'll discover the different stages of winemaking, from the harvest to the aging of the cuvées, and the secrets behind producing red, white and rosé wines.

The highlight of the evening: the wine tasting. Around large friendly tables set between the vines and Luberon hills, you'll sample three carefully selected wines. The winemaker will introduce you to his cuvées, paired perfectly with flavours from the region lovingly prepared by local caterers: cured meats, cheeses, and sun-drenched vegetables (...).
A truly memorable sensory experience awaits you at dusk: conviviality, encounters, and the discovery of the diverse appellations AOC Luberon, Ventoux, and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Gadagne. A beautiful way to explore local wine estates and cellars differently: a rare, intimate, and privileged moment, an immersive experience, a genuine meeting with passionate winemakers, a special moment for authentic exchange at the heart of their expertise.
