Moulin du Clos des Jeannons

Created in 2003, the Moulin des Jeannons is a family business, located at the foot of Gordes. In the country of the bories, in an authentic setting where stone and wood are combined, our mill is nestled on terraces of olive trees built in dry stone.

Olive-growing tradition and Provençal flavours

André Horard, a local boy from a family that had been farming for generations, decided in 2003 to convert his farm from vineyards and cherry orchards to olive groves.
He created the Moulin du Clos des Jeannons. His son Guillaume Horard is now at the helm of the business.

With over 5 miles of olive trees, the oils we produce are made on site. We produce 4 different types of oil: PDO Provence, fruity green, with herbaceous notes and a slightly bitter aftertaste; Tradition, intense taste, fruity green, an aromatic oil with notes of artichoke and pepper; Goût Subtil, fruity ripe, a sweet late-season oil with notes of avocado and dried fruit; and Goût à l'ancienne, fruity black, with strong notes of black olives and tapenade.

In keeping with old traditions, we invite you to come and discover our production workshop and shop. You can taste our oils and discover our specialities: honey, tapenades, herbal teas, truffles, as well as beauty products, candles and scents.
