Come and discover the emblematic product of the Mediterranean art of living!
From harvesting to production, from ancient presses to modern techniques: the Musée de l'Huile d'Olive (Olive Oil Museum) takes you on a journey around the flagship product of Mediterranean cuisine.
A visit punctuated by an original staging, audio guides (French/English) and multimedia presentations.
Olive oil tasting... and wine tasting too!
The Olive Oil Museum is located at Domaine de La Royère, where organic AOP Luberon wines have been produced for over 30 years.
A dozen white, rosé and red vintages are available for tasting, in addition to the olive oils made on site at the modern mill.
An ethical estate in tune with the times
La Royère, founded in 1988 by the Hugues family, now covers some forty hectares of organically-farmed olive groves and vineyards.
Keen to make the most of its harvests, the estate also produces a natural sweet wine and eaux-de-vie in its still.
Something new at La Royère! This summer, Les Traits du Lub will be offering you a ride in a horse-drawn carriage with their magnificent draught horses!
