A wine estate in the heart of the Luberon

Founded in 1995, Domaine La Garelle is now celebrating 30 years of winemaking passion. The estate covers 28 hectares of vineyards spread across hillsides, valleys and plains, on limestone, sandy and stony soils typical of the Luberon.

This ancient terroir, already cultivated in Gallo-Roman times, benefits from:

  • a great diversity of soils
  • a Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations
  • ideal exposure for optimal grape ripening

These natural conditions make it possible to produce AOP Luberon and IGP Vaucluse wines with a broad, balanced aromatic profile.

Organic and responsible winemaking

Domaine La Garelle has been farmed organically since 2023 and has been committed to a comprehensive environmental approach for many years.

Concrete commitments for the future

  • High Environmental Value (HVE) certification
  • Controlled grass cover in the vineyards
  • Mechanical weed control
  • Use of exclusively organic fertilisers
  • Preservation of biodiversity (hedges, groves, local wildlife)
  • 280 m² of photovoltaic panels producing more energy than the estate’s total needs

The result: wines produced with an almost zero carbon footprint, respecting the soil, living ecosystems and future generations.

Recognised AOP Luberon and IGP Vaucluse wines

Domaine La Garelle now offers 11 distinct cuvées, available as white, rosé and red wines, aged either in stainless steel tanks or in French oak barrels.

Red wines

Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Merlot
Elegant, well-structured cuvées, vinified parcel by parcel, with barrel ageing for the Réserve and Grande Réserve wines.

Rosé wines

Fresh, aromatic and well-balanced, they express the finesse of Syrah, Grenache and Merlot blends, with notes of red fruits and English candy.

White wines

Viognier, Vermentino, Roussanne and Chardonnay give rise to floral, complex wines, aged on lees or in barrels depending on the cuvée.

The wines of Domaine La Garelle are regularly awarded at national and international competitions and featured in renowned guides such as the Guide Hachette, Decanter and Elle à Table.
