In the Luberon, watch the final on a giant screen or choose football-free experiences: bars, evening tours and Sunsets Vignerons. Everyone chooses their own programme.
The World Cup final is that special moment when everyone suddenly becomes a coach, assistant referee and tactical expert from their café seat. Predictions fly, terraces fill up and the last match of the tournament can turn a quiet evening into a huge collective celebration.
In Destination Luberon, you do not need a stadium ticket to soak up the atmosphere. Several cafés, brasseries and screening venues welcome you to watch the final in a friendly setting. And for those who love the Luberon but are slightly less enthusiastic about football, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the end of the tournament. Evening tours before the final, followed a few days later by an evening among the vines at sunset… here, everyone can choose their own playing field.

France will not be playing in the World Cup final. A disappointment for the fans, certainly, but no reason to keep replaying the match for days. In the Luberon, there is another way to recover from the emotion: step outside and head back into the vineyards.

On Tuesday 21 July from 6.30 pm, the Sunsets Vignerons en Luberon invite lovers of wine, beautiful scenery and friendly evenings to gather at several wine estates.
The evening includes a walk through the vineyards at sunset, a chance to meet the winemakers, a tour of the cellar and a tasting based on the theme of cured meats and cheeses.
France may not be lifting the trophy, but everyone can still raise a glass against the beautiful backdrop of the Luberon.
