Between organic wines, contemporary architecture and sensory experiences, La Cavale invites you to experience the Luberon differently. Located between Lourmarin and Cucuron, this wine estate in the AOP Luberon appellation cultivates the art of hospitality around wine, terroir and the pleasure of discovery.
Here, a visit is much more than a simple tasting. You explore an architect-designed winery by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, learn to recognise aromas, taste organic wines, settle down on the terrace and prolong the moment to the sound of cicadas or summer musical evenings.
La Cavale is a place of wine and life, where people come to taste, understand, share and savour the Luberon.
Paul Dubrule, co-founder of the Accor group, is considered one of the pioneers of wine tourism in France. At La Cavale, this vision takes shape in an estate designed to bring together wine, hospitality, architecture and terroir.
Set across 36 hectares of organically farmed vines, La Cavale produces a range of wines in the AOP Luberon appellation, reflecting the freshness, light and diversity of the South Luberon landscapes.

The range includes white, red and rosé wines, with several expressions of the estate. Petite Cavale offers fresh, fruity wines, perfect for aperitifs or simple everyday moments. La Cavale brings together more structured cuvées, designed for food and wine pairings. The micro-cuvée BLANC, produced in a limited edition, illustrates the estate’s commitment to precise and distinctive organic wines.
The estate also cultivates 700 olive trees, with emblematic varieties such as Salonenque, Aglandau and Picholine. Three organic olive oils complete the experience, in a distinctly Provençal spirit.
La Cavale is a wonderful address for discovering organic wines from the Luberon, understanding blends and tasting the richness of a terroir shaped by vines, olive trees and Provençal light.

Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, La Cavale’s vinification and ageing cellar blends elegantly into the landscape of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. Dry stone, glass, zinc and light come together in a contemporary building conceived as a setting for wine.
The tour showcases the different stages of winemaking, from grape reception to the ageing of red wines in Austrian oak vats. The visit offers a better understanding of the cellar master’s work, the precision of each gesture and the estate’s organic philosophy.
Located between Vaugines, Lourmarin, Cadenet and Cucuron, the winery becomes a meeting point between architecture, winemaking and the landscapes of the Luberon.

What if discovering an organic wine from the Luberon was not just about tasting it, but also about understanding it, sensing it and sometimes even blending it yourself? La Cavale’s wine tourism workshops turn a visit into a hands-on experience.
A gourmet workshop to explore the balance between intensity, bitterness, tannins, sweetness and length on the palate.
Colour, rim, nose, attack, structure and caudalies: learn how to read a wine with method, precision and sensory vocabulary.

Good to know: workshops are available by reservation only, 48 hours in advance. Allow around 1 hour for the workshop, at a price of €25 per person.

Extending from the shop, La Cavale’s terrace opens onto a green setting. After a winery tour, a workshop or a simple tasting, it offers an ideal pause to enjoy the landscape, the song of the cicadas and the changing light of the Luberon.
Here, you can savour a glass of organic wine, a hot drink or a fruit juice, accompanied by sweet or savoury local specialities. It is a gentle, friendly and gourmet stop, perfect for extending the estate experience.
On sunny days, the terrace also becomes the setting for La Cavale’s musical evenings, with a festive atmosphere, homemade food and sunset views over the Luberon.
This season, Wednesday evenings become La Cavale’s musical rendezvous. On the estate’s terrace, styles follow one another throughout the summer: swing, bossa nova, rock, jazz, opera, country and variety music. Settle in, enjoy the atmosphere and let the sunset accompany the evening.
