Olivier brings his own equipment, including one or two telescopes depending on the set-up, to help you discover the Moon, planets, constellations, galaxies and celestial objects visible depending on the season.

You do not need to be a specialist to enjoy the evening. Here, astronomy is explained simply, with curiosity and good humour. You observe, discuss, ask questions and learn how to recognise constellations, understand the phases of the Moon and follow the movements of the stars. The short talk can be adapted to suit the audience, with just the right amount of explanation to help you better understand what you are looking at.

Then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: looking through the telescope. The Moon appears in close-up, Jupiter or Saturn reveal themselves depending on the time of year, and the stars show unexpected shades of colour. On some evenings, it is even possible to photograph the Moon with your smartphone or camera.
