Seated in a carriage, enjoy a comfortable and friendly ride to admire the landscapes of the Luberon, the ochres of Roussillon and the Provençal villages from a different perspective.

On horseback

For horse-riding enthusiasts, horseback rides allow you to explore the trails and ochre landscapes in a more immersive way, as close as possible to nature.

Ochres, quarries and living heritage

The outings can lead to several iconic sites in the Pays d’Apt Luberon: the Mines de Bruoux, an ochre extraction quarry still in operation, or the village of Roussillon, listed among the most beautiful villages in France.

You can also discover Ôkhra, the Ochre Ecomuseum, and its trail, a place where colour is experienced through gestures, experimentation and sharing knowledge.

Passionate about horses and equines, Virginie shares her know-how through an approach based on respect for animals, transmission and discovery of the local area.

Excursions are available as half-day or full-day outings. Some carriages are accessible to people with reduced mobility, so that as many visitors as possible can enjoy this different way of travelling through the Luberon.
